Well as some of you know we have been getting into fishing in this household. 3 out of 4 of us have our own fishing rods. (And I will be having one soon) It all started with N getting a pole for his birthday from my parents. :-) Anyways, once M did it on our camping trip he was hooked. We do catch and release. Well so far non of us had really caught one yet. T

hat changed this week. Wednesday evening we went to park (right next to our subdivision) and went fishing. N had his pole ready to go first so he casts in and I look over after sitting down and his bobber is gone! So I holler for him he has one and to pull on it and start reeling. I go running over and he had forgotten to "lock" his reel so here I was trying to pull on it and it kept going. :-) Anyways, the fish got away with the bait. :-( So then the rest of the time it was fun. We got alot of bites, N got his line stuck in a tree twice, E finally was convinced to use some bait/hook instead of using a weight, M caught 3 (only one got to shore on his line and one had the pole bent a ton but got away...w

ould have been interesting to see what size it was), and S caught one after it had teased her in the same spot over and over. :-)
M's fish is the one "hanging" on the line. S's is the one in the water being ready to be released.
